Are You familiar with THE LORD’S PRAYER?
 
Over the years I have spent a considerable amount of quality time focusing my attention (one might call focused attention, meditating) on THE LORD’S PRAYER. Please note: If this subject of Prayer offends You in any way (which of course I have no intention of doing) Please feel free to skip this Blog, I won’t be offended.
 
However, if You are familiar with THE LORD’S PRAYER, You, surely must know that the first word in the PRAYER is OUR, which tells us that this PRAYER is meant for each and every one of us.
 
It goes on to say, OUR FATHER, which tells us that each and every one of us have the same FATHER. And of course, implies that we all are brothers and sisters in the Spiritual “Family of GOD”.
 
WHICH ART IN HEAVEN, tells us that OUR FATHER lives IN HEAVEN, which most of us have been told is a Lovely, Peaceful, Happy Place. A place we would all like to go to when we die.
 
It goes on to say HALLOWED BE THY NAME which tells us HIS NAME is a HOLY NAME — One to be REVERED — A NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES.
 
THY KINGDOM COME THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. Well (Lucky for me!) I know to be true, for right now here on EARTH when my will has been totally aligned with HIS WILL, I have experienced that Lovely, Peaceful, Happy Place. That Spiritual Taste of what HEAVEN will be like.
 
GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD tells us to Live Each and Every Day, One Day At A Time, asking HIM to sustain us with physical and best of all Spiritual BREAD. FOR JESUS SAID, I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE. (John 6:35)
 
AND FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US. Which is summarized in this simple scripture: FORGIVE AND YOU SHALL BE FORGIVEN. (Luke 6:37)
 
AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL This tells us that all HE wants us to do is TRUST HIM and do our best To STAY IN HIS WILL. And if we choose to FOLLOW HIM, we will NOT be TEMPTED to do EVIL things. TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND LEAN NOT TO YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATHS (Proverbs 3:5,6)
 
FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, THE POWER, AND THE GLORY,
FOR EVER This reiterates the fact that GOD IS EVERYTHING. And if we do our best to Put GOD First in our Lives we will Experience and Share that Lovely, Peaceful, Happy Place Within Ourselves, and Within Our Brothers and Sisters In The Spiritual Family Of GOD. FOR BEHOLD, THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU. (Luke 17:21)
